Hampshire Microlight Flying Club has just returned from a fantastic day at Wellesbourne. The staff were all amazingly friendly and the Vulcan tour exceeded all our expectations and was very informative. The Vulcan maintenance is run by passionate volunteers, so this makes it even more impressive. An awesome day out which is highly recommended for any family or flying club.
The cafe at Wellesbourne Airfield cook up a great fried breakfast! It is very popular so you may have to que in busy times.. but the food is good & reasonably priced , clean & very tasty!
Great friendly little airfield. Well worth a flyin good cafe but bring cash as they dont take cards.
Recieved the warmest of welcomes on a bitterly cold morning. Great value for money for a pre booked tour of 3 hours,tea and biscuits included all for 10. Many thanks to the volunteers for sharing their experiences. Highly recommended.
