Best fish and chips I've had, great service and lots of nice touches.
My wife and I enjoyed the quality. The price is quite high for a chip shop, but the quality matches the price. I was happy to see that the fish was cooked fresh rather than a pre-battered and fried fish left in the warmer for who knows how long. Portions sizes are not big, but reasonable.
Cramped eat in tables behind the takeaway. 6 tables for 4. Trendy decor and very good customer service. Very expensive. 4 for chips. 10.50 for fish n chips. You can get beer and wine. Chips were nice. Fish a bit greasy.
A brilliant small place where I have eaten a number of times over the last year. Fish and chips a little wider choice that brings a smile to your face whilst looking at the menu and it stays there through both the meal and the cash payment at the end. As you exit back on to the street you know you have just had a good meal. That is the Chip Shed.
Love love love! Award winning and rightly so - gorgeous fresh fish and chips, reasonable portions and plenty of choice on the menu. Limited seating but there is a love,y outdoor area out the back perfect for sunny days. Food is reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. One of the best fish and chips I have had!
