I ate at the restaurant Thursday 29th Nov for my Mum's birthday and the whole experience was fantastic from the minute we walked through the door. There was a party of around 12 on anothr table and us, no other bookings due to only having one chef. I found this impressive as it showed we'd receive great service beacuse they put customers experience over quantity of bookings.We oredered the cheese souffle as a starter to share, followed by us both having the roast lamb. The lamb was so tender it fell apart when you put the fork into it, delicious veg and a jus that was tasty without being overbearing or sickly.We followed it up by sharing sticky toffee pudding which was light and fluffy sponge and glorious sauce.The prices are fabulous considering the excellence of the food served, 2 courses for 15.00 (lamb and steak have a supplement).I'd highly recommend going to this little place and I'll certainly be back
Do not miss this fabulous restaurant. We were staying in Warwick for one night for my fiance and my birthday (born the same day). We booked in advance for three: two adults one child. It's a small restaurant and when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday night there was only one other table occupied. We were given a table by the window and given the menu which was small but offered a nice variety, although i thought the starters might have been a little more adventurous.However as the menu was 15 for two courses this was not at all an issue. My daughter could not find anything to interest her and there was no problem cooking her chicken and chips! The starters are fabulously cooked we had the cheese souffle and the chicken Caesar salad. We both had steak for the main which was wonderfully cooked. The lemon posset for dessert was divine. The owner who managed front of house and the other staff member were very friendly and made our visit a complete joy. We will go back next time we visit Warwick.
