Had a nice tasty meal; venison pie to warm up on a freezing cold day. Pub was nice and warm with a cozy fire on in the main bar. Staff were friendly.
First time in there today after viewing a house and nursery. Lovely and very friendly staff. Food was amazing. Will be going there often when we move there. Fanstic place.

Fabulous pub, great atmosphere and food to match!I love a trip to the Cape (probably a little too much). Good honest food, friendly staff, traditional interior and fabulous sunny days by the canal. In the winter you have a warm fire and the Sunday lunch is well known as a cracker! Well worth a visit.
A great tucked away gem of a pub. Very welcoming with happy and enthusiastic bar staff. Nice selection of real ales and other ciders. The food was delicious very fresh tasting and good portions. The pub was packed with other diners but we had a very short wait. Lovely canal side setting.
