I have been to this place time and time again. Staff/volunteers are so friendly and helpful /polite. I have started popping in just for a cup of tea and a cake (they are made locally and sometimes using there own produce. Absolutely gorgeous!) plant sales do not require a garden ticket and parking is free for 2 hours. Well worth a visit!
This place is great. Compared to gardens that have 4 acres and have virtually 70 varieties of snowdrop, this garden has around 2 acres but over 140 varieties! Staff are great and friendly. A lovely place to spend time. Thanks for Hill Close!

I love this place. Fantastically maintained by volunteers. Beautiful Victorian gardens with heritage plants and trees.
We had a lovely time walking around these restored Victorian gardens. There was so much to see and it was a really interesting experience. Lovely talking to the volunteers who are working there to keep these gardens in such good condition. We came away with amazing fruit and vegetables from the garden. Would definitely recommend a visit.
